Airfoil — Bartosz Ciechanowski
Another stunning interactive explainer from Ciechanowski. This one breaks down the physics of flight — how airfoil shape and orientation generate lift, with gorgeous interactive demos showing fluid flow, pressure fields, and the behaviour of air around wings. The kind of thing that makes you wonder why all education isn’t like this.

Maine’s ‘Lobster Lady’ dies aged 105
Virginia “Ginny” Oliver started lobster fishing at eight years old alongside her father in Maine, and never stopped — 97 years on the water until a fall at 103. She wore lipstick and earrings every day on the boat “because you never know who you are going to see.” Even Mark Hamill was a fan. Lobster went from 28 cents a pound to $6.14 over her lifetime. What a life.

Two hours of nocturnal Los Angeles ambience pulled from Michael Mann’s Heat. Perfect deep-work soundtrack — all blue-black highways, neon reflections, and that particular brand of Mann melancholy.
